There're many ways to skin a cat, and Sanrio's biggest export just proved it with a Hello Kitty skin of the MiNEW A10 Nettop. It's adorable right now to the cute overload. Then again, this is clearly targeted at the kawaii crowd of tween/teen girls. So don't expect anything under the hood that'll give a geek a buzz. Instead, Korean HTPC producer Moneual has packed its feline-nized mini PC with pretty run-of-the-mill components comprising an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, Intel GMA950 graphics chipset and a 160GB SATA hard drive. The non-Kitty version has a launch price of 400,000 won (US$314), so expect the Kitty branding to jack up the cost.
Still, if you can conquer your aversion to pink or lipless cats, this might well be a sweet bribe to get your kiddo or niece tethered long enough to her Nettop to do her homework.
