In high school my love of computer technology led me to program my own versions of popular video games such as space invaders and street fighter in BASIC. Sadly, after high school, the dissolution of my immediate family left me without a home. Once I found myself on the streets, my alter ego formulated a superhero identity, in order to survive the ordeals that awaited me. I became known as Nicky. One day I vowed to tell his story. On his travels Nick was often helped along by others, predominantly those from socio-economically impoverished backgrounds themselves, who could therefore relate to his ordeals. He dreamed of someday giving back to these people and their community. Being computer literate, he began to envision an internet production outlet for their vibrant culture and creativity, using his skills to promote their music and passion as online media. In 2002 he donned an empty backpack and strode into a University of Wisconsin campus with nothing. There for six months he assimilated and immersed himself in the knowledge and hands on experimentation required to master his knowledge of web code. Welcome to Nicky's World.
