James Good is a Certified Financial Planner? whose music life has gotten out of control (musicians reading this will likely appreciate that opening comment). He has been playing and performing bluegrass, country, and gospel music since age 9, and began doing studio recording in his early 20s. He currently performs primarily in churches and concert venues with various bluegrass bands local to Central Pennsylvania and was part of The Stevens Family show (Berkeley Springs, West Virginia) from May, 2005 to October, 2006.

James' influences include Mike Auldridge, Jerry Douglas, Rob Ickes, Doyle Lawson, Charlie Honeycutt, The Dixie Melody Boys, his children, the people in his church, and his metronome.

James' primary music goal is to practice as much as possible and play music that encourages and inspires to people who listen.
