In Loving Memory was formed in August 2005, when Ra?l and Juanma part ways with their previous band, Craving Fear / Forensick, and decided to look for new musicians to generate a new proyect and express their musical ideas.

Quickly they found Aitor, drummer from Lost Emotions band, who share with them the same feelings about the music and together they started the core of In Loving Memory.

In September 2005, when the first ever rehearsal was done, Jorge, also guitar player from Lost Emotions, was listening to that evente and he was captured by the music and energy flowing in the room, so In Loving Memory offered him the second guitar player vacant.

In December 2005, after a long and hard search for a suitable vacalist, Alaitz enters into In Loving Memory as the singer

In November 2006, after some sucessfull and great shows across the Basque Country geography, In Loving Memory recorded their first demo-cd, containing five of the best songs composed by the band, that follow an english styled doom metal with progressive and melodic influences from the nordic metal scene.
