Shawn Russell started playing guitar when he was 13. His main influences in the early years were mostly country music that his Father would play around the house, and eventually became exposed to rock and roll. At first it was roots rock, then he became interested in punk...later on it was the Grateful Dead. All in all, his original music is a true blend of styles, and he aims to keep it that way.
