Simply put, THE THIRD IMPRESSION is '80s pop/rock with DX7 and all included.
-
The band lasted only one impeccable album before bitter feuds, money, women, booze and plain ol' rock and roll got in the way.
-
The backbone of the band was a set of brothers - the Roncari brothers covering lead guitar, vocals and drums and the Ussher brothers handling rhythm guitar, vocals and bass. The band lineup was completed by Cristina Fonseca, a classically trained pianist, on keyboards.
-
Their one and only independently produced album self titled, The Third Impression, sold out it's initial 5000 copy pressing within the month of it's 1986 release.
-
The album included ten original songs in the following running order: Mary Jane / Looking for a Better Day / Londrina / The Yang / 76 to Go / Those Days Are Gone / Spur of the Moment / 360 (Bitcher) / Fade Away / The Third Impression.
-
By the end of 1986, Marco Roncari had put on his army boots and headed to Italy. His brother Max packed his bags and headed to the south of Chile. Cristina Fonseca got married and had a baby. Enrique Ussher put on a tie and now lives in the white collar world. Only Pablo Ussher stayed behind, paying his dues in various cover bands, helping to produce ABRASION's debut heavy metal rocker in 2000, mingling with MILER, the Brazilian musical chameleon, (which yielded several shady colaborations), and then found time to start his new band, HEDGEAR in 2001.
