Mandarin Grins Again started out as two friends (former members of separate burnt-out local groups) recording short songs for laughs. Summer of 2003 found them making songs with an old, long-lost pal from their highschool days who gave their music a new spark. The next year was spent writing and recording over 80 songs as well as many others that are yet to be finished. These selections tell the story of these three friends; their trials, defeat, sorrow, backgammon, raquetball, and eventual triumph over life. This is the story of Mandarin Grins Again.
