The infamous Charleston SC presents, the Hard Headz duo ??Hollywood & Troy.
Talk about a city that is just savage & cruel, and Charleston comes to mind. ?If you ain`t coming hard-core then you can forget it? Hollywood says, cos most n****s from Charleston got a felony so getting a job almost impossible?, Situation made worse by the fact Charleston is not exactly a wealthy city, ?so everybody hustling, got to?? adds Troy, ?it savage all the way got to watch your back constantly onetime (police) on one side and dem jackas on the other?.

Their first single, ?Hard Headz? already a hit on the streets is soon to hit radio and clubs all over the south. This single also contains ?M.O.B (Hard Heads remix)?, a crazy surefire uptempo club track and ?My Dawg? a really slow personal/ general song about the sad epidemic
Hollywood? & Troy simply continue in the down south? hip hop movement which is nothing new, but this duo really do bring a new brand and flavor to the whole mix which shouldn`t be surprising due to the fact Charleston hip hop really hasn`t been heard outside of the city. With some of the best beats and deliveries in the game, these boys are sure to rep. Charleston SC to the fullest on the national scene.
(folks getting beaten, locked up and getting killed on these streets) ravaging hoods: prediction is, this song in a strange way(being a very slow track) is going to become a club classic around the country because of the music and message, ?every n***a? from the hood can relate to it? troy says, ?every n**** been touch by this brutality one way or another?. This is the theme that runs through the whole album, real street music that everyone can relate to.

THE DUO:
?
?Hollywood aka Fred Mouzon was born in Oakwood Av. Charleston SC in 1986. While growing up the family moved around Charleston so much that he says all he really remembers is greenvillage and rivers place.
Hollywood has seen his fair share of tragedies as well, born with two brothers and a sister, one brother Sheldon was killed in1995 and the other Germ aka Jeremy Mouzon is currently fighting 30 yrs fed time in the big Sandy Kentucky. From when he could remember his father had been hooked on drug and has mostly lived in and out of jail (he`s only been out few months after serving 3 yrs) and this gap (lack of a father figure at home) is what takes us to the next chapter ??
? The streets: At age 11 he started working in a barbers shop called smitty`s with a bunch older folks, says Hollywood, ?these folks were good to me, they were my father figure?. They taught him everything he knew about the streets back then and when he started rapping they encouraged him, and named him? .?. ?Hollywood?.
? By age 14 he had formed a group called Southern Nation with six other boys, they put out mix tapes in the streets of Charleston. It was one of these tapes that somehow found it`s way to 411 Music based in Atlanta, says the ceo, ?I just had to sign Hollywood, one could tell right off the c.d, he had star quality. His hooks were strong catchy and any record label exec. Will tell you, it`s all about hooks hooks and hooks???. He had a very distinctive rap flow as well?.

Troy aka Troy Smith is the phenom of the year, this dude never wrote or rapped a single line in his young life before 7 months ago. He actually just went on a recording trip to the ATL with Hollywood when Hollywood`s intial partner Chuckboy (the group used to be Hollywood and Chuckboy) had to drop out of the project. Troy was the only possible last minute replacement, so he had to learn, co-write his verse and record Hard Headz in 3 days? the boy had it in him all along.
Born in 1985 in the most savage housing project of them all, the North Park Village (aka PCP) the family later moved to Green Village (aka GVP) which is where he met Hollywood. According to Troy he learned virtually everything he knows about the streets living those two sets, ?it was like being born into the streets?. it was wild?.
? He learned the street game mostly from his brother ?Bum? (aka Jermaine Smith) of the Jacka Boyz fame, who is currently doing 5 in Georgia.
Troy graduated from North Charleston High with a felony hence he says, ?f*** a diploma cos it ain`t helping me, I raised by my grandma so I know right from wrong. Rapping been a life saver Cos` it just too crazy out here, it real easy to become a statistic?.
