Thejani started out her singing career at the age of 6, singing to her brother/producer/manager Udhara's music. Her voice was fine tuned to create, TJ. Now 11, her debut album is currently in the works, being recorded in San Francisco, produced by her brother, now 15, Udhara de Silva.
