Clef Electric (Aka Johnny Hotrod Aka Josh McAuliffe) resides in Perth, Australia where I am currently completing a Degree in Music Technology. After the completion of my first collection of works ( PowerCord) I decided to hone my stlye and concentrate on the Electropop side of my music. Early 2004 saw the formation of Electric Limosine, an fresh new Electro Pop Trio consisting of Dandy Vandal, Coco Pop and myself as Johnny Hotrod. We are currently in the process of forming a record label ( Bourgeois Bogan Records ) in conjuction with Silki Krusher (another Perth Electro Group).

My music is a mish mash of many different genres including electro, breaks, pop, rock, d'n'b, hip hop, classical and dub.

Music, washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life.
