David Poweręs passion for art and music was cultivated steadily over his younger years until, at 16 he picked up his motheręs worn Carmencita guitar and found it the perfect accompaniment for his voice and the tool with which to unlock his songwriting skills.

As a self-taught guitarist, Poweręs style developed into a curious blend of Chris Isaak, R.E.M. and Chet Atkins.ę In the years to follow, he travelled extensively, constantly evolving his own approach to his craft. Using folk harmonies, simple blues rhythms and nature as inspiration he began to build his repertoire.

At 26, Power is now focused on taking his music to the next step ę through the recording studio to the public. After performing more regularly over the previous year, his confidence and stage presence is gaining strength and recognition.
