Cool Gear Action returned to Funan The IT Mall on 11 & 12 May, back by popular demand from our audience and sponsors after the overwhelming success of our last 2 shows in 2001. Organized by CNETAsia, the leading source of IT information and online reviews of technology products, Cool Gear Action 2002 aimed to close the gap between the consumer and technology, by bringing the hottest and coolest gadgets right into the heart of town.

In conjunction with IDA's e-Celebration Singapore 2002, Cool Gear Action 2002 sets out to advance IT literacy among the general public, promote the adoption of e-Lifestyle and the understanding of Infocomm technology and its impact on our contemporary lifestyle.

Once again, the roadshow has stirred the IT consumer market with the exciting bargains, new product launches and provided a fun-filled weekend for all technology enthusiasts. Featuring renowned brand names such as BenQ, Canon, DBS, Fosa, Fujitsu, Intel, iQ New Technology Store from Courts, Linksys, Palm, Shell, SingNet and SingTel, the show attracted over 30,000 visitors in 2 days. Not forgetting the numerous winners of our lucky draws and contests who walked away with fabulous prizes sponsored by our exhibitors.
