Despite the unofficial Windows Mobile 6 upgrade, my ailing HTC Universal is about to give up on me anytime. Can't wait to get my hands on it's upcoming replacement, HTC Omni!

It packs in loads of connectivity including HSDPA, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth and even GPS. It gets a WVGA 4-inch 800×480-pixel display and has TV and VGA out. Memory-wise, it has 256 ROM, 1280 RAM and a microSD memory card slot for expansion. Plus, it addresses the main peeve of the Universal, lack of external sub-display!

Apparently, the Omni won't be available till next year. *sob sob*
