Dude, you got a Dell?

The news keeps getting bad for Dell. Forbes highlighted that Dell will be delaying reports of its second-quarter profits because of a US investigation.
And this week's online edition of Fortune magazine points out something I've noticed in Hong Kong. Dell markets computers, quite cheaply, but for a long time the service side of its operations has been less than desirable.
Dell, said the Fortune article, doesn't even have a high-level marketing director. Founder and chairman Michael Dell even asks his interviewer if he knows anyone who can fill the position.
I stopped using my Dell Latitude and bought a Lenovo instead. Lenovo has increasingly become Dell's toughest competition in Asia.

Dude, I'll never buy a Dell again. It's pretty simple. If you buy a gold support system and you are corporate you get a Texas Service team that solves your problem. If you are home user or don't subscribe to service you get something less.
Dude, I'll never buy a Dell again!
