ROBO-ONE battles of 2007 kicks off
Posted by mobileojisanROBO-ONE was named after the human version of battle, K-1 WORLD GP. There were two classes, lightweighters and heavies. Altogether, 32 bi-pedal robots entered into the battle ground, after having won in the local ROBO-ONE events, passed the pre-battle qualification test, and gone through 2 minutes of self-presentation with inflated (robotic) ego.
In the lightweight class was Chrome-Kid (38cm tall, 2.61kg) manufactured and controlled by KUPAKUMA-san. Movie clip of the final are here. Chrome-Kid plays football skillfully, too. A real athletic type.

And, finally, the battle of lightweight and heavyweight champions, though there wasn't much difference of weight and size.
Yokozuna Shiranui won the duel and climbed onto the throne of the 11th ROBO-ONE.
