Indonesian startups get funding

Posted by budip
Slowly, but surely, Indonesian tech startup companies are growing. Despite the fact that they funded themselves when initiating the efforts, to jump to the next level, they will need support from investors.

According to an Indonesian 2.0 Web site, two Indonesian startups (microblogging and location-based services Koprol and an e-commerce company) are currently negotiating with some venture capital companies to pursue further development.

The Web site wrote:

The great news was told by Satya Witoelar, one of the founders of Koprol, that they're currently negotiating with two investors interested in investing to Koprol. One investor is from Jakarta (local investor) and the other is from Singapore. This is great news!
