Here is a video preview of Beijing's Olympic structures, most notable among them are the Birds Nest (i.e. Olympic Stadium) and the uber-cool "Watercube". For anyone who isn't in Beijing right now, this is definitely worth a look. 

 

The Birds Nest has already drawn its share of controversy, but it does look darn impressive. With the world watching this year, modesty will not be a part of China's vocabulary as it attempts to show the world that it's ready to be a global power. 

Let's hope that come this August when the games kick off, nothing goes wrong.
