LAS VEGAS, US--Admittedly, it is not the most comfortable mouse to use, but the compact size of the Logitech Cube will appeal to those who are always on-the-go. Showcased at the pre-CES Digital Experience event, the Cube also comes with a presenter functionality.
To switch it into presenter mode, all you need to do is to lift the device from the table surface. Clicking the top of the mouse lets you move to the next slide, while turning the mouse and clicking it again enables you to go one slide back. Interestingly, this Logitech mouse also supports scrolling along its touch surface.
The Cube uses a tiny micro-USB receiver for wireless 2.4GHz connectivity and comes with an internal lithium-polymer rechargeable battery. It is expected to launch in the US later this month with a retail price of US$69.99.
