Hold your horses, it's the Optimus 3D Max!

With MWC just around the corner, handset manufacturers are starting to build up hype by unveiling some of their upcoming handsets.
LG has outed one such Android smartphone--the Optimus 3D Max. Initially codenamed CX2, it was rumored to be called the Optimus 3D 2. We got the specs right though--the follow-up to last year's Optimus 3D is thinner at 9.6mm and packs a faster 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
It retains the 3D shortcut button for conversion of 2D content and the same 5-megapixel camera. The 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display--which features Corning Gorilla Glass 2--still can't match its closest competitor, the HTC Evo 3D (960 x 540 pixels).
Although the Optimus 3D Max runs on Gingerbread, LG promises an Ice Cream Sandwich update shortly after the launch. Another upcoming software update or proprietary app will also add HD conversion capabilities and additional camera features such as a rangefinder.
LG has also added NFC support for the Optimus 3D Max, and its Tag+ feature seems similar to that of the Sony Xperia S' customizable Smart Tag, which triggers certain modes and adjusts settings on the handset when tapped.
Pricing is not yet available, but the Optimus 3D Max will launch in Korea in March, followed by Europe and the rest of the world.

Look at here: http://www.facebook.com/LGMobile?sk=wall&filter=1 If you click for all the entries here on the wall, you'll see how many dissatisfied Optimus 3D customers moaning. Optimus 3D IS (or I should use HAD BEEN now) the flagship model, top of the line model for LG last year, and now... you see how it ends up. A large hoard of ANGRY and FRUSTRATED users! I think people should really think about it before getting their hands on this piece of "3D gadget" from LG!

I'm owner of Optimus 3D. This phone is really amazing! It takes really good 3D photos! 2D -> 3D conversion is very cool feature! It can even convert A.Birds in 3D! I love this phone! So i think this Optimus 3D MAX will be awesome too.
