Latest PSP phone leak shows interface
The leaks about an upcoming Sony Ericsson PlayStation Portable phone have been coming fast and furious. It's almost as if the manufacturer doesn't care that its staff or partners are releasing information prematurely, or simply allowing it to happen. It's whipping up quite a bit of discussion on various sites, and now, there's a video (embedded above) showing the PlayStation Portable interface.
While it doesn't show very much, the interface is clearly modeled after the XMB UI. This is similar to what you'll see on the current handheld game deck and the PS3 console. A message indicates that "There are no content items", which means we won't get to see any games running on it. But given the frequency of new information about this upcoming device, we won't be surprised to see a game demo on one soon.

It's the content that counts. If the prices of the games for this machine drop tremendously, it'll take off. Else it's a dud...and will be trounced by iPhone even before it's out. Relying solely on novelty is a bad idea... Perhaps I'm saying it prematurely but seriously, they better do something about it...
