Notebooks

Notebooks are getting cheaper... But not cheap enough. True bargain hunters wait for the annual IT show to scoop up the best portable deals.

Raon Digital Everun

Show price: S$1,038
Remarks: With its portable form factor and long battery life, the Everun has thus far come the closest to fulfilling the UMPC concept. Though it cannot run Windows Vista unlike some of the latest range of UMPCs, its Windows XP Home platform is sufficient for the majority of users and runs quite spiffily.
Specs: AMD 600MHz processor; 512MB RAM; 60GB HDD; integrated graphics; Windows XP Home
Booth: 6301
