Question on PC & Peripherals:

I know that with Windows systems, the 32-bit versions can only recognize up to 3GB or RAM while the 64-bit versions are the ones to completely utilize the whole 4GB of memory (if you opted for the upgrade that is...). My question is, will a Mac running OS X be able to make use of 4GB of memory?

That will be depend on the operating syetem you are using on your Mac. If you are using Mac OS X Tiger, then you'll run into the same issue as the 32-bit Windows version. Fortunately, the latest Mac OS X Leopard is 64-bit compatible. This means that the machine can recognize memory sizes above 4GB.
