Flash diffuser for Micro Four Thirds

American entrepreneur Gary Fong recently announced the new Puffer Flash Diffuser for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Recognizing these cameras as a growing segment, the new addition to the popular flash modifier series will cater to interchangeable lens cameras (ILC) such as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2, Olympus Pen EPL-2 and other similar models.

The Puffer works by eliminating harsh shadows or blown highlights in an image through diffusion. After your flash fires, the light passes through the diffuser panel and softens lighting so its more flattering to your subject. Typically, built-in flashes fired straight at your subject can be very harsh and produces images with that "deer-in-headlights" look.

When not in use, the Puffer can be folded flat and kept in your pockets, making it a very compact accessory to have around. The flash diffuser retails online for US$21.95 and ships worldwide.
