Unreal Media Server 5.5

Unreal Media Server is a streaming server for Windows platforms, designed to provide multimedia delivery over LAN and Internet. Supported file formats: AVI(DivX, XVid, any encoding), MPEG-1/2/4, WMV/WMA, ASF, MP3, QuickTime. Playlist functionality allows to automatically play all the files of server's virtual folder in a loop mode. Live media sources include: digital cameras, IP cameras, microphones, TV-tuners, analog video sources connected to Video Capture card that supports DirectShow interface. Codecs used for live video compression: WMV and MPEG4; for live audio: WMA, MP3 and GSM 6.10. TCP, HTTP, HTTPS Unicast and RTP Multicast transport protocols are supported.

Version 5 supports for Windows Media codecs for encoding live audio/video sources and hardware encoding appliances so streaming hardware compresses content without software transcoding. Version 5.5 adds ability to stream via MMS protocol to Windows Media Player, Quicktime player, MPlayer on Windows, MAC and Linux.
