SoftWriting 4.0 features an OCR/ICR and standard Windows interface to scan and read handwritten notes or machine printed paper directly into Text files or MS Word document. This new version supports input from a several kinds of Tablets and digital pens, and machine print OCR which uses several high quality ocr engines in order to achieve high recognition rates. The handwriting must be non-connected, which means that characters should not touch each other. The recognition of the handwriting improves for every page that is submitted to the system since the software learns the user's handwriting. Average ICR rate after submitting 5 pages to the software is around 98% recognition rate per character. Perfect for students who take notes in a library and need to type them into their computer, people who take meeting notes, interviews etc.
