    Description  
XP Icons changes nearly 100 Win98/98SE/Me and Win2k system icons to the new Windows XP Icons. The verdict isn't in yet if XP will be the end all for Windows but the icons are great. Includes options to remove shortcut arrows, 'Shortcut To' prefix and colored block behind the Desktop Icon text. Also allows choice of Desktop Icons text colors.

The new version features new XP Style GUI and 10 additional icon changes. Restarting the computer is no longer necessary. Compatibility added for Win98/98SE/Me/Win2k.

Don't run the .EXE
The zip file contains an .EXE which extorts you for info and then routes you to FTP sites. SHAME ON CNET for having this on its download list!!! I read the readme and did not unzip.

I request CNET to remove this product from server
This product is just a name sake and it's no use. Useless and hangs the system and even corrupts the old icon files of Win 98. I request CNET to remove it because it will spoil the name and fame of CNET. And request users not to download this product.
