This free, open source program simulates and displays the motion of bodies in space according to Newton's Laws. Users can design their own solar systems to simulate using editing tools which are included with the program. Orbit3d simulates gravity, kinetic energy, momentum, and collisions (both elastic and inelastic) in three dimensions.
