Why buy an expensive tape backup system if you already have one? DV Backup is a shareware application for MacOS X 10.2 which lets you backup computer files to a domestic DV or Digital8 camcorder. DV Backup 1.0.3 supports these features: backup, restore, verify with up to 10GB storage per hour of tape (15GB for LP mode) / full table-of-contents listing for each tape including user comments / automatic remote control of the camera including tape positioning / 8 levels of error protection/recovery, from none through to full duplication / file/folder archive during backup, de-archive during restore / PAL and NTSC, DV and Digital8 cameras supported / drag-and-drop functionality.
