Since 1993, Media 100 Inc.'s flagship product line of award-winning Media 100 digital video systems has redefined the digital video industry by making program creation simpler and more affordable. With over 19,000 customers in more than 50 countries worldwide, Media 100 for Macintosh digital video systems are used in the creation of programs for broadcast, video, animation, multimedia, CD-ROM and the Internet. Media 100's unique DV integration provides customers with the ability to mix analog and digital signals in the same program and then master the program out to an analog deck via Composite, S-Video, or Component, or to a DV device.

It also provides users with the ability to select the compression levels best suited for their project, and uses a digital to digital transfer so DV footage never leaves the digital domain. Version 12.1.3 includes unspecified updates.
