Apple Drive Setup 1.7.3
- Description
-

Any time you install Mac OS versions 7.6, 7.6.1, 8.0, 8.1, 8.5, 8.5.1, or 8.6 on your computer, you should use Drive Setup to update the driver on your hard disk again. Apple Drive Setup installs software (called a disk driver) that allows your computer to communicate with the hard disk. Use Drive Setup to update your disk driver or to reinitialize a disk. When you reinitialize a disk, all of its contents are erased. Version 1.7.3 includes improved reliability for Ultra ATA transfers on G3 Blue and White machines. Earlier versions of Drive Setup can reintroduce issues resolved with Drive Setup 1.7.3.
