The photography arena ain't dominated by the alpha males alone. This week, we feature Eunice Lim, an avid photographer who kindly took time out of her busy schedule for this interview.

The images you see from this feature have been reproduced with permission from Eunice Lim. If you wish to be featured in our interviews or know any photo buffs who may be interested, email us a short description of yourself, or your friend, and we'll get back to you.

Name: Eunice Lim
Type of photographer: Amateur
Favorite camera: Canon EOS 66 SLR, Canon 10D dSLR
Accessories can't do without: Wide-angle lenses

What she says:
I was majoring in photography during my diploma studies in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). My passion for photography blossomed when I started taking snaps for my school assignments. I love traveling, capturing the moments and painting the "canvas" with what I see through the viewfinder.

As I move on, I'm also looking forward to shoot more portraits of people and fashion, as well as self-portraits both in black & white or color.

Photography is definitely an expressive avenue for me to display what I want to show. It's not just the art and it's not just the photography, it's a culture to me.

I like the way these two architectures complement each other. To get a different view, I tilted the camera to a lower angle and made use of the bridge to create a more dynamic look for this composition. Always be experimental with new angles because they are most likely to give a new perspective on how the objects will look.
