Buying your phones overseas

With new handphone models springing up so often in markets which are not available here, some of us, particular the mobile geeks, would have considered getting a handphone overseas for use in Singapore.

But before you do so, you should be aware of the local telco regulations governing the use of such phones in Singapore. We've put together some frequently asked questions to the Republic's de facto telco authority, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), for what you need to do.
