I do not think the comparison is justified. Is like comparing W7 with Snow Leopard in different hardware environments...

HTC Fans still rule at Cnet Asia (like it is not obvious in all your (P)reviews....

I am neither a fan of both, though I do know 3GS is not performing as it should do.
Android on Hero is promissing, but Hero has hidden faults which not many people are aware off - or only in a few months...

such as customizing sms alerts, "dashboard" board at the bottom. It would be good to include language translator and dictionary, file manager(can be dled), front camera for video conversation, equalizer for ... the list goes on. I dont think the customization is epic enuff oso. Plus wmo 6.5 is coming up.. and the normal interface of android desperately need to buck up to complete the new OS.

I'll never know both of two but I'll follow the editors because they already know what is the best.

I don't think hero is better since iPhone has been launched long time ago, and it is so popular that SingTel still doesn't have stock...

I'm not surprised either. The real strengths of the iPhone are lost in a cloud of pre-judged statements, from people who will never truly discover it simply because they rather keep their fat behinds in their comfort zones. I have owned WM devices for years, iPhones since the 1st Gen, and more recently carried an Android phone around for a week before giving it to a client. While the Android's a pretty nice device, nothing still comes remotely close to an iPhone. If I write any more, cNet will need to start paying me :)
