Well, people have now made their minds and it looks like a lot of us prefer the mini note over the ASUS eee 900. Nice choice people.

vista business bundle might have justified the higher cost of ownership, and people are still tempted to see 120GB HDD as a selling point compared to the advantage of an SSD in terms of reliability. well, a 2GB RAM may compensate for the slow VIA CPU though.

there will always be trade-offs when using either system i.e. battery life, speed,,, but what the Eee brand is currently establishing is practical & objectively for the mass market segment.

It's like you can't live without the speedy computing from Asus, but you can't live without the the gorgeous exterior of the HP Mini either. Helppp!

yucks.. I have tried the EEEpc, to me its more like EEEK PC !! such disgusting plasticky feeling of its exterior, like some toy computer your bought from Toy's R Us, the screen resolution is so-so, and the key board.. yucks.. so horrible to be typing on it. can't imagine those suckers buying this umpc

for me the deciding factor is the full-sized keyboard. i can almost use the mininote as my only computer.

i believed hp created the mini note to outmatch the EeePC and to lead the race in terms of mini-computing. Everybody's wants to lead, eventually ASUS will unveil higher ends of their EeePC to lead anew! duhh(?)
