Question on Mobile Phones:

I'm using the HTC Touch Diamond2 and came across the fact that Windows Mobile 6.5 (WM6.5) is out in the market. I've tried the HTC official Web site but none of the links show anything relevant to my phone. How should I go about updating the Diamond2? Please help.

Yes, Windows Mobile 6.5 is currently available on new devices including the HTC Touch2 and Acer neoTouch. For existing handsets, you'd want to refer to our upgrade list for Asia feature. The ROM upgrade for the Touch Diamond2 is expected to be available end-October which could be anytime now. But the last time we checked, the software has been released only for the HTC Snap.

Apparently, WM6.5 is already out for the Touch Pro2 and Diamond2 on HTC's Europe site for a while. A quick Google will show you links but seems like it's really region specific for if you try to upgrade using the Europe ROM it will be unsuccessful. Not too sure why there's a delay for HTC in SEA though...
