Both Blu-ray movie discs and players from the US are based on the NTSC video format. For a display, such as the Sony KLV-40X350A, to work with these content and equipment, you will need to ensure that your panel supports NTSC playback. Some HDTVs retailing in Asia also come with multi-system function and will readily support NTSC as well as PAL programs.

We would suggest you contact the relevant Sony office to find out whether the Bravia TVs sold in that Middle East country supports NTSC as well.
