Should I change my antivirus application?

Oct 1, 2009

Question on PC & Peripherals:

I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my new laptop which includes McAfee security.

I just switched Internet service providers and the new plan offers a free "McAfee Security Suite".

Should I keep the security I have already installed or upgrade to the new one offered by my new provider?

In this case, you should consider the following factors.

1) How much longer does your current antivirus subscription last? You may want to hold on to your new McAfee Security Suite till your current subscription runs out.

2) How does your current antivirus feature set compare with the new McAfee version? It may not be worth the trouble if you don't gain any features.
