Question on PC & Peripherals:
I received a second-hand DIY desktop from my friend who has been using the computer in the Chinese lanuage. I want to change the language setting but discovered that I need a Windows XP installation disc. Unfortunately, my friend did not pass any discs to me. Is there any way to solve my problem?Submitted by Chee Beng, via email

If you are lucky, then you have a version with Microsoft's Multilingual User Interface (MUI) which allows you to switch the OS to English. In any case, since you have been prompted to insert a Windows XP disc, it would seem you will have to get hold of that before being able to make any changes.
