Why is Optus in Australia, a SingTel subsidiary, releasing the iPhone 3GS on June 26 while in Singapore where the parent company resides, we don't even have a confirmed release date?

iPhone 3GS is expected to be available from SingTel in Singapore next month. Exact dates and pricing details have yet to be released.
