I'm choosing between two different mobile phones, one has a 7.6cm QVGA display while the other has a 5.1cm TFT LCD display. Which one is better?

I can't give you a straight answer since we are comparing two different terms here. QVGA tells you the resolution of a screen and, in this case, it's 240 x 320 pixels. TFT, on the other hand, is a type of display that uses thin film transistor technology and is a variant of the liquid crystal display (LCD). There's also the active-matrix organix light emitting diode (AMOLED) which is gradually being used on mobile phones for due to its energy efficiency. How a display performs is usually a combination of its physical size, resolution and type of panel.
