Can I use a second-generation iPod touch with a wireless network protected using WPA or WEP?

Yes, the second-generation iPod touch will work with WEP-, WPA- and WPA2-secured wireless networks. For WPA in PSK mode, you should only need to key in the appropriate passphrase or hexadecimal string on the iPod touch to get onto the network.

If you are having trouble with that, try reading this support article from Apple.
