Jan 18, 2009

Question on Notebooks:

What are the main differences between Windows Vista Starter and Vista Home Premium? I just bought a laptop it has Vista Starter installed on it.

The Vista starter pack was essentially created for developing markets and had many features stripped to keep the cost down. In fact, it is even more basic than Vista Home Basic though if your needs boil down to Web surfing and such you'll not miss much using the Starter pack.

Vista Home Premium, on the other hand, includes multimedia features for entertainment. For more powerful machines this is the better option to maximize the hardware investment.
