Any differences between the Pioneer TVs from Europe and Asia?

May 9, 2008

Question on Home Entertainment:

Are there any differences between the Pioneer PDP-LX608D from Europe and PDP-LX608G from Asia?

I can finally afford a Kuro TV and am already unhappy that the US has an Elite version that's going for less than what I am going to pay. So, if the European model is still better, that may make me reconsider. As I am planning to buy the TV soon, I would really appreicate a quick response.

The main difference between these models is an inbuilt digital TV tuner. We believe the rest of the features are more or less cosmetic variations on technological terms. Nevertheless, you could contact your local Pioneer office for further information.

In addition, "Elite" is just a branding used by Pioneer US for their premium offerings. This is similar to the XBR series for Sony and etc.
