Question on PC & Peripherals:

I am trying to install a new version of Norton antivirus software into my computer, but I am having problems removing the old updates. How can I uninstall the current one so I can install the new version into my PC?

Answer:

As most antivirus programs are loaded on startup, you need to enter into Safe mode to remove them. On Windows XP/Vista, hit F8 until you enter the startup menu and select Safe Mode. From there, you can access the Control Panel and remove the unwanted program.
