HTC Touch Cruise versus Nokia N95

May 1, 2008

Question on Mobile Phones:

I spent 3 days searching for a handheld/phone. Basically, I need Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and the other features will be a bonus. Preferably, the phone should be small. I narrowed down my choices to the Nokia N95 8GB and the HTC Touch Cruise. I am not sure if the nokia comes with Wi-Fi. I am also not sure if the HTC is the best one for me. I type a lot of text messages. I really hope you can help me out.

To answer your first question, yes, the Nokia N95 (8GB) has Wi-Fi connectivity. If you are a text messaging person, why don't you consider the HTC TyTN II, which is nearly identical to the Touch Cruise in terms of features, except that it comes with a QWERTY keyboard.

Okay, let's put size into consideration as well. And if we do that, as far as I can see, the Samsung SGH-i780 is perfect for your needs. This Windows Mobile 6 device comes with HSDPA/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity, which are basically the features you are looking for. On top of that, the QWERTY keyboard should come in handy if you text a lot. Hope that helps!
