Can you tell me more about the GPS function in the
N82? So far, a lot has been said about the phone having onboard GPS, but not much has been mentioned about its usage. Does the N82 come with Singapore, JB and KL maps?

The Singapore commercial unit of the Nokia N82 comes with Singapore and Malaysia maps preloaded onto the handset. You can also download more maps using the Nokia Map Loader program onto the microSD card. Well, depending on your usage pattern and your needs, GPS may or may not have uses for you. What GPS can do is pinpoint your current location after getting a satellite fix. And if you have turn-by-turn navigation switched on, you can also use GPS to guide you to places you want to go. These are some of the more common applications of GPS.
