I was wondering if there are any AIO printers that can print directly on CDs. How would I know if a printer is capable of printing on CDs? Is there any name for printers that are able to print on CDs?

Answer:

There are AIO printers that print directly on CDs. However, the optical media (CD/DVD) has to be a printable one. It wouldn't work on a normal CD.

There are no special names for such printers. In order to find out, you would need to check in the product specifications under "media handling" or "features" to see if direct printing to optical media is supported.

One such AIO printer is the Epson Stylus RX590.
