Looks like Sennheiser Communications is pretty late to the game. The VMX 100 is the company's first Bluetooth headset that features VoiceMax dual microphone technology, which is able to distinguish human voice from background noise. And we thought we'd moved on to bone conduction already? Anyway, the VMX 100 allows the wearer to chat non-stop for up to 5 hours or 100 hours if you leave it on standby. But what sets it apart from its army of competitors out there is its 3D ball joint that allows the user to adjust the microphone boom to their fancy. Now if only Sennheiser could include some laser target acquisition algorithm in there. That should shut some people up in the office.
What's the one thing that US and Europe have which Asia doesn't? No prizes for guessing, duh. And you think we're going to let it go just like that. Since our appeal in the last newsletter asking readers to write in about their iPhone unlocking experiences, we've received a handful of interesting responses. Here's what some of them have to say. Pictures included.

Don't you hate that bulky projection screen? Or are you running out of shelf space for your DVD collection? Here's an Italian way of killing two birds with one stone from designer Matteo Ragni. The Livit fly is an unassuming-looking shelf system which hides a projection screen. This comes in only 4:3 aspect format with a screen size measuring 1,700 x 1,280mm and is available in four different colors.
Great if you need something less conspicuous for the living room or simply have a problem convincing your better half that this is definitely the one! Have we got your attention yet? Apparently the company has a presence in Asia, too. Check here (under distribution) to close in on your nearest local dealer.
It seems everyone is jumping on the rainbow bandwagon nowadays. From Dell Inspirons to Sony VAIOs, black, white and gray just don't cut it anymore.
Which is probably why MSI decided that its latest 12-inch portable should go the funky route. Available in pink, blue or green, the MSI PR210 YA Edition looks good enough to bring to your next rave party. But don't look too closely under the hood because it's business-like fingerprint sensor kind of throws off the wild image. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Gigabit Ethernet and DVD writer actually make this a respectable corporate machine. A little like a hippy working in a law firm.

Here's a mobile phone that will stun you like nothing. Yes, we actually mean stun. As in 900,000 volts of pure charge going right through you. The online site touts this as "one of the highest voltage stun guns available"--which is good news for the one holding it, not so good news for the poor mite on the receiving end. Illegal or otherwise in Asia, we're betting there's always someone out there who'll try to smuggle this in. Dressed to kill, this looks like a phone (smacks of a Sony Ericsson), feels like one. That is until you point the top end of the device at your unwitting victim. There are two safety levels, in case you stupidly zap and fry yourself. Oh, and just to give the customer value for the money, this device also packs a 12 LED flashlight (to check out your wretched quarry in the dark?), a holster, and batteries. No word on just how much power this stunner sucks up per charge. But get this, you receive a lifetime warranty on this stun gun. Or is that a lifetime in the slammer?
