If you are thinking of buying a musical instrument which is fun and attractive at the same time for your pre-school child, consider AMK. With it, the kid can compose his own songs and probably create one hell of a noise. So best prepare the earplugs or just bear with it.
PKNTS Alle Meine Klange (AMK) is the result when Guitar Hero and Lego are put together. It is a musical instrument for children which they can dismantle and put together like building blocks easily, in many different ways.
Each block represents different functions, such as a loudspeaker, recorder, a replay function and even sound effects. With just a twist and press of the colorful buttons, this will activate the blocks. Then, the young musician can upload the song he's composed to the computer.
This will probably keep your child occupied for long hours.

If you've ever wondered how fast your skin cells are being roasted while sunbathing in the open, here's the perfect gadget for you. The chemical compound in the UVmonkey changes color to reflect the ultraviolet intensity of the sun. As it turns darker, that's your cue to slap on more sunblock lotion and bring out the Solarmonkey. The latter is a portable solar charger for your mobile phone and iPod. Although the UVmonkey isn't something you would associate with being professional, it does have one redeeming quality. It lets you know the best time to juice up your solar charger. Both primates are available online at Powertraveller.
We're waiting to get our hands on the new Rock Band 2 hardware Tuesday afternoon, but in the meantime, Harmonix has released the entire set list for the game (or at least the songs that will ship on the game disc--many more will no doubt be released as online downloads).
The game will be available for the Xbox 360 in September and the PS3 and Wii later in the year.

It is reported online that Samsung is planning to add four new babies to its point-and-shoot lineup. As the date for Photokina draws nearer, we're beginning to see more and more tricks up the sleeves of manufacturers. For the Korean chaebol, cramming more resolution into its shooter seems to be the name of the game this time round.
The NV100HD is one 14.6 megapixel beast packaged in a stylish form. This makes the shooter the highest-resolution point-and-shoot available, besides the 13.6-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-W300 from Sony. According to Engadget, Samsung is introducing SmartTouch 2.0 with a 3-inch touchscreen. This shooter is primed to build upon the success of the acclaimed NV24HD and will sport the same 3.6x optical zoom. The "HD" prefix means that this point-and-shoot is capable of recording HD-quality video clips.

What could possibly be better than a million-dollar RV outfitted with state-of-art technology? One that goes in the water, of course.
As insane as it may seem, the Terra Wind Amphibious RV has all the proper accoutrements for a luxury vehicle of its class, including a 6ft swim deck, an eight-jet whirlpool, marble floors, wood paneling, leather furnishings, and a fully equipped home theater system featuring a 42-inch plasma TV, according to Uncrate. In the cockpit you'll find the instruments needed for the aquatic half of its persona to operate the submerged motors, rudder controls, bilge pumps, rudder control, and other standard yachting fare.
Surprisingly, the prices don't seem that much higher than land-only RVs in this category: From US$850,000 to US$1.2 million. Then again, there's not exactly a common range for this kind of thing. As for us, we'll wait for a seagoing version of the five-star hotel on wheels.
