Perhaps Psystar's sensing that the end is near for its Mac clones, but the Miami rebel is not going to go silently into the night. It created a stir back in April 2008 when it became the first company to sell non-Apple PCs with Mac OS X preinstalled via its online store. Though these "Hackintosh" desktops are not without some bugs, Psystar addresses a niche market which wants an Apple operating system without being restricted to the Cupertino's hardware selection.
